Li cars have encountered a serious problem when updating the software. Some cars have simply started to "freeze" when trying to install the new firmware version 7.4.
According to him, the bug only appears on cars of the latest restyling, released after May 2025.
At the same time, owners of pre-styling models successfully updated their cars to this version without any problems.
One of the Li users shared that his 2025 hybrid crossover was blocked immediately after switching from firmware 7.3 to 7.4. The reason is a software error: the update algorithm does not take into account the SIM card soldered in the service.
After contacting the official service in Almaty and the factory in China, the information about the bug was confirmed.
As a result, after an unsuccessful update, almost all electronic units of the car stopped working, with the exception of the lidar, which was finalized during the last model update.
