"Time Machine": A rare 45-year-old "Niva" with zero mileage appeared for sale in Russia

Another "time capsule" has appeared for sale in Perm - a 1980 Niva. A distinctive feature of the car is almost zero mileage, only 62 km. The VAZ-2121 has never been registered since its purchase.

According to the owner, the car was purchased in 1980 for "Vneshposyltorg" checks, which the current owner's father received while working abroad. However, the SUV was never used, having stood all this time in a dry, heated garage.

Under the hood of this "time machine" is a 1.6-liter engine with 80 hp, working in tandem with a 4-speed manual transmission.

The car has all-wheel drive. Due to the great interest from collectors and classic car enthusiasts, the price of the car has soared from 4 to 7 million rubles in just a few hours.
