On June 26, AvtoVAZ increased prices for painting Lada car bodies in metallic color from 15,000 to 20,000 rubles. These changes affected all models of the brand.
The company notified its Lada dealerships about the change in recommended retail prices (RRP) for painting the body with acrylic enamel with a metallic effect. At the same time, the price lists on the official Lada website have not yet been updated.
Metallic is a type of paint in which there is an additional component - a reflective pigment of aluminum powder. Due to it, the car shimmers in the sun with a beautiful metallic sheen.
Recall that until 2022, paints for AvtoVAZ were supplied from Europe. And after the Western sanctions, the automaker had to change European paints to Chinese ones.
