AvtoVAZ had barely announced the start of sales of the Lada Granta Active Cross liftback with increased ground clearance of 198 mm when the model already appeared in Togliatti dealerships at a price of 1.2 million rubles.
The car received a contrasting protective body kit and a new "Flamenco" color (bright red), combining the practicality of a liftback with the off-road capability of a crossover.
The base version is equipped with an 8-valve engine (90 hp) and a manual gearbox. The equipment includes air conditioning, two airbags, heated seats and mirrors, as well as an audio system. A more powerful version with a 16-valve engine (106 hp) and manual transmission, costing from 1.37 million rubles, includes Lada EnjoY Pro multimedia, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, cruise control, climate control and heated windshield.
The Granta Active Cross received a modernized suspension, 15-inch wheels with 195/55 tires and a protective body kit, increasing resistance to light off-road conditions. High ground clearance and reinforced construction provide off-road performance close to Lada SUVs, making the model a competitor in the budget segment.
