AvtoVAZ continues to reduce the production volume of the Lada Vesta model. According to internal plans, only 306 cars will roll off the assembly line per day in July, working in two shifts. In total, the company expects to assemble 5,967 cars, which is significantly lower than the levels of previous months.
Of the total production volume, 3,128 cars will be sedans, and 2,827 will be station wagons. In addition, the plans include the production of only 12 Lada Aura representative-class cars.
It is curious that in July AvtoVAZ will not produce bodies for the subsidiary Lada Sport at all. The reasons for the reduction are not disclosed, but it can be assumed that we are talking about disruptions in the supply of components or low demand in the market.
