An experienced model of the electric garbage truck MAZ, designated GTe, was presented in Moscow.
The compact cab located above the front axle is optimal for vehicles operated in frequent stop mode. This layout has long been used abroad, but is unusual for the CIS countries. The cab provides four seats - a driver and three crew members.
The garbage truck is equipped with an electric drive and a 204 hp electric motor. A 256 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery guarantees a range of up to 200 km.
An environmentally friendly and silent power plant will allow the machine to be operated in the city at night. The 20 cubic meter body is capable of holding up to 10 tons of garbage.
The list of equipment includes cameras providing all-round visibility, windshield heating and air conditioning.
