Official sales of the BAW 212 SUV, which is called the "Chinese UAZ," will soon begin in Russia. The company, which positions itself as a distributor of the BAW brand, has published price lists for the model.
The car, which is close in size to the Land Cruiser 300 and Prado (wheelbase 2860 mm), has a length of 4705 mm, a width of 1945 mm and a height of 1999 mm. It is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 238 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a locking inter-wheel differential.
The price of the BAW 212 in the basic Machinist configuration is 2,945,000 rubles. The Adventurer Rus version, which includes heated front seats, windshield and rear windows, will cost 3,395,000 rubles. The top Long Wing configuration is priced at 3,649,000 rubles. For comparison, the BAIC BJ40 2024, which is similar in characteristics, costs from 3,025,000 to 3,422,000 rubles.
Prices for the BAW M7 MPV minivan have also been announced: the version with a manual transmission costs 2,495,000 rubles, and with an 8-speed automatic transmission - 2,649,000 rubles. Cars are available in stock and on order with delivery in 20 days.
