New car brand Aion to enter Russia

GAC intends to bring its subsidiary brand Aion to the Russian market. This was announced by representatives of the Chinese auto concern during the presentation of new GAC models.

The Aion brand will appear on the Russian market. It is now entering the European markets.

The model range and timing of the new brand's appearance in the company have not yet been disclosed.

In the spring of 2024, information also appeared on the Web that the Chinese concern GAC Motor had registered trademarks of the Aion model line in Russia.

The Aion car brand was first introduced in 2018 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The brand's first model, the Aion S sedan, was launched in the PRC market in 2019. Currently, the lineup in the domestic market includes seven models - sedans, crossovers and hatchbacks.
