As part of AvtoVAZ's open day, the promising Lada Azimut crossover was shown to the general public. This is the second instance of the new model, which was assembled at the plant.
The demonstration model has a pleasant dark mint shade. The source claims that the body is fully functional, with steel stamped panels.
Lada Azimut will go into mass production in the first half of 2026. The crossover received 1.6 and 1.8 liter engines paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a CVT, respectively.
AvtoVAZ plans to include a 150 hp turbocharged engine and a classic "automatic". The "Azimut" will remain exclusively front-wheel drive. The price of the crossover is within 2.5 million rubles.
