In July 2025, the Tank brand reached a significant milestone in the Russian market, selling its 50,000th car. According to the press service of Great Wall Motors, the SUVs of this Chinese brand appeared in Russia in February 2023.
The model range includes four cars: Tank 300, Tank 400, Tank 500, and Tank 700, which quickly gained popularity among Russian buyers.
The main demand is for the Tank 300 and Tank 500 models, with combined sales exceeding 47,000 units. Tank 700 ranks third in popularity, and the recently launched Tank 400, which went on sale in February 2025, is showing steady growth. More than 20% of all brand cars are sold in Moscow, and other sales leaders include St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, and Nizhny Novgorod.
The network of official Tank dealers has over 60 centers in 49 cities in Russia. According to analytics, in January and May 2025, the brand led in sales of new premium cars in the country, which underscores its success in the market.
