Almost New Volga for 1.3 Million Rubles: Collectible GAZ-24 for Sale in Donetsk

That's about what they're asking for a new Lada Iskra in the top configuration

A rare GAZ-24 Volga from 1987 has been put up for sale in Donetsk. According to the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the car is in excellent condition; it has only traveled 16,330 km in 38 years. The seller claims that his grandfather drove the car, and all the seals, tags, and factory parts are in place. He says that the smell of a new Soviet car can still be felt in the cabin.

The body is black, and all panels and units are original. However, the specimen cannot be called completely perfect: shagreen has appeared on some parts of the body - small waviness of the paintwork. The seller notes that this defect is easily eliminated, but he did not specifically fix it, preserving the factory presentation.

Under the hood is a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of about 100 hp, working in tandem with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The owner is asking 1.3 million rubles for this rarity, about the same as for a new Lada Iskra in the top configuration.
