AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales for the Lada Iskra 2026 back on July 20, but it is not actually possible to buy the long-awaited new product yet, according to Autonews.ru.
In car dealerships, you can only inspect the display models now, but you can't sign up for a test drive or buy a car. Representatives of the dealerships said that the cars have not gone on general sale, and orders for the Iskra are not being accepted at all.
An employee of the "Tekhnik" auto center suggested that the real start of sales will probably be in October, and only then will it be possible to place an order.
AvtoVAZ's product director Oleg Grunenkov noted that the number of cars produced may be adjusted depending on market conditions and demand.
