The domestic telecom operator announced plans to cooperate with Chinese China Telecom. The parties will develop multimedia services, autonomous communication systems and telematics for Xpeng cars.

As a result of the collaboration, the companies will create "connected cars" adapted for a specific region.

However, despite expansion plans, Xpeng's management is in no hurry to officially enter the Russian market. This is due to concerns about possible sanctions.

Cooperation between Russian and Chinese telecommunications companies may be the first step towards closer interaction and, possibly, the official start of sales of Xpeng electric vehicles on the Russian market in the future.
