Camper trailers for motor tourists, developed in penal colony No. 2 in Angarsk, have successfully passed the tests. An application for the production of five modules has already been received, said Sergey Lobarev, head of the National Association of Automotive Tourism and Caravanning.
A specialized production site has been organized on the territory of IK-2, where convicts, after professional training, are engaged in the manufacture of campers.
With my participation, an expedition was carried out along a difficult route to Baikal with heavy traffic. After almost a thousand kilometers, we can say with confidence that this product is made with an "excellent" mark. The expedition made it possible to confirm that the camper produced in IK-2 is ready for release.
Experts highly appreciated the technical characteristics and quality of the camper, the prototype successfully passed the test on Siberian roads.
