Sales of Lada Iskra began in Russia on July 20, on the birthday of AvtoVAZ, and the first batch of cars was sold almost immediately. Sergey Tselikov, head of the Avtostat agency, spoke about how many Lada Iskra were sold in 11 days of July.
According to him, only 21 "Iskra" cars were registered.
Moreover, 20 units are registered to legal entities, I suspect mainly to dealers, and only 1 unit to an individual.
Tselikov noted that it is impossible to buy a car "here and now." AvtoVAZ is currently on corporate leave and does not produce cars.
