«Moskvich 3e» bypassed competitors and became the most popular electric car in Russia

In July, the Moscow car factory sold 249 cars

In July 2025, the Russian market for new electric vehicles demonstrated a noticeable growth. According to the Avtostat agency, 1,257 new electric vehicles were sold during this month — a record figure for the current year.

The electric crossover «Moskvich 3e» became the sales leader, which sold 249 units and took the first line of the rating of the most popular electric vehicles.

The Evolute i-PRO sedan, which topped the list a month earlier, dropped to second place, but lost the lead in July, showing a result of 183 cars sold.

Thus, for the second month in a row, the domestic model retains the status of the most popular among new electric cars in the country. The third position was taken by the Zeekr 001 crossover with a result of 180 cars sold. The top five also included Avatr 11 (77 units) and Zeekr 7X (54 cars).
