Nissan Motor has unveiled a special version of the X-Trail T33, worked on by engineers from the Nismo tuning studio. Particular attention was paid to optimizing the car's driving performance, with the system recalibrated to more effectively distribute torque between the axles. Thanks to the new firmware, Swing Valve struts from Kayaba, and Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, the Nismo Nissan feels much more confident in high-speed corners than its original version.
The new modification is based on the all-wheel-drive X-Trail e-4ORCE platform. During the upgrade, the main focus was on improving the dynamic characteristics of the car.
The serial hybrid power plant has not undergone any changes: the front electric motor develops a power of 198 hp and a torque of 330 Nm, and the rear one — 132 hp and 195 Nm.
The exterior, unlike the engine, has undergone changes — the car received Nismo-specific sill plates, as well as front and rear bumpers. Recaro seats and a center position mark on the steering wheel, typical for rally cars, make the interior more sporty.
