UAZ will launch the production of new versions of "Patriot" with a diesel engine, according to the manufacturer's CEO, Alexey Spirin.
He reminded that in April 2025, UAZ integrated a diesel engine with a new six-speed gearbox into the "Profi" model.
We plan to introduce them on the assembly line for the UAZ "Patriot" by the end of this year.
As part of the model range update, UAZ previously presented a new engine - a 2.0-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 136 hp.
The unit will be combined with a modernized transfer case and a six-speed manual gearbox previously unavailable for the brand's cars.
The updated "Patriot" will also receive a more modern interior and a redesigned exterior with LED optics.
Among the changes in the cabin are an airbag, new control key blocks for on-board electronics, a smaller diameter steering wheel with thickenings for grip, and a new central tunnel.
