In January-July 2025, 58.7 thousand passenger cars were imported to Russia from South Korea. These figures are 111% higher than in the same period last year, according to Sergey Tselikov, head of the Avtostat agency.
Imports of new cars increased almost fivefold to 7.5 thousand units. Deliveries of used cars increased by 93% to 51.2 thousand.
In the used car segment, Kia ranks first (14,267 units), followed by BMW (10,160 cars), Hyundai (7,630 cars), Mercedes-Benz (5,551 units) and Audi (3,183 units).
The leader among new cars was the KGM brand (3,705 cars). It is followed by BMW (974 units), Hyundai (666 units), Kia (642 units) and Mercedes-Benz (571 units).
