Experts at the HotCars auto portal have compiled a list of nine of the most durable used Subaru models, despite the fact that the Japanese brand does not have a reputation for impeccable reliability, like Toyota, for example. Among them are cars that can serve their owners for many years with minimal problems. The rating highlights the brand's potential in the used car segment, offering guidelines for purchase.
The 2021 Subaru Crosstrek crossover leads the way with a reliability rating of 85 out of 100 points. The average annual maintenance cost is $492 (about 40 thousand rubles), and some units have already traveled 312,200 kilometers, with the possibility of reaching 402,300 kilometers with proper care. In second place is the 2019 Subaru Forester with a score of 83 points, where individual cars have traveled more than 482,800 kilometers, with maintenance costs of $617 (about 50 thousand rubles).
The top three is rounded out by the 2021 Subaru Ascent mid-size crossover with a rating of 82 points. This car is capable of traveling over 400 thousand kilometers without serious breakdowns, and the annual costs for repair and service are $617 (about 50 thousand rubles). The list also includes the Subaru Legacy (2018), Outback (2023), WRX (2020), Impreza (2021), Tribeca (2008) and BRZ (2017), which expands the choice for used car buyers.
