Kia Sportage offered in Russia at a price lower than Chinese competitors

Sales of the Kia Sportage crossover, supplied through parallel imports, continue in Russia. Prices start from 2,320,000 rubles, which makes it cheaper than a number of Chinese counterparts, such as Jaecoo J7 (from 2,909,900 rubles), Jetour Dashing (from 2,489,900 rubles) and Geely Atlas (from 3,512,990 rubles). Cars are available in several cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk and others.

The basic version for 2,320,000 rubles, offered in Vladivostok, is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 200 hp, an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The equipment includes a fabric interior, leather multi-steering wheel, digital instrument panel, multimedia system, climate control, electric seat adjustment and keyless entry. A more powerful version with a 2.0-liter engine with 236 hp costs 2,480,000 rubles, and an all-wheel drive version with a 2.0-liter engine with 150 hp costs 2,760,000 rubles.

A modification with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 180 hp, a robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive is also available for 2,800,000 rubles in Vladivostok. In Ufa, a similar front-wheel drive version is estimated at 3,299,000 rubles. You can order Sportage in cities from Omsk to Sevastopol, and cars are available in Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and other regions.
