BAW and FAW Chinese Light-Duty Trucks Were Assembled in Bryansk

The BNM plant in Bryansk, owned by the "BN-Motors" holding and producing commercial vehicles, has ceased operations. Under the BNM brand, Chinese light-duty vehicles of the BAW and FAW brands were assembled. The enterprise was opened back in 2023, but assembly began this spring, assembling only 110 cars during the spring and summer, which have not yet been sold.

The models assembled at the plant are the BAW T7 with a payload of 1500 kg and the FAW T80 with a payload of 900 kg. Initially, it was planned to produce gasoline and LPG vehicles and reach a figure of 10 thousand assembled cars by 2025, and 25 thousand by 2030. Currently, the official website of the company continues to sell already assembled cars, the minimum price is 2 million rubles.

The BNM plant employs about 100 people, including employees of its own design bureau, which adapts cars to the Russian market and introduces locally produced parts.
