The Ordzhonikidzevsky District Court of Perm satisfied the claim of a local resident against the car dealership LLC "AC Gagarina" for the return of money for the Lada Granta car, sold to her under the guise of a new one.
In April 2024, the woman bought a new car from the dealer for 1.7 million rubles. Later it became known that the car had already been in use.
The court found that the buyer was not provided with reliable information about the condition of the vehicle when concluding the contract. The defendant did not prove that he had notified the plaintiff of the fact of previous use of the car.
According to the court decision, 2.6 million rubles were recovered from "AC Gagarina", including 1.7 million as the cost of the car, 500 thousand - penalties for delay in the return of funds, 200 thousand - a fine in favor of the victim, 15 thousand - compensation for moral damage, as well as 200 thousand - a fine in favor of the regional branch of the organization "Public Control of the Perm Territory".
