Domestic cars Lada Iskra and Azimut are competitive in their segment, their development is the result of AvtoVAZ's systematic work to expand the model range in accordance with the development strategy of the Russian company, said Anton Alikhanov, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
The Minister drew attention to the developed service network for car maintenance and the much lower cost of ownership compared to foreign cars.
I got acquainted with both models personally at the concept stage, they are quite competitive in their segment.
According to Alikhanov, the high level of localization of Lada allows them to be available on the market for consumers.
Sales of Lada Iskra began on July 20 in Moscow, Tolyatti and St. Petersburg. The Iskra sedan in the basic configuration with a mechanical transmission costs from 1.25 million rubles.
