In August 2025, 2,763 new plug-in hybrids were registered in Russia, up 3% from August 2024 (2,682 units), but down 3% from July 2025 (2,844 units). A significant event was the change in the segment leader: Voyah Free took first place, selling 664 units, which is 61% higher than last year's result.
The previously leading model, Li Auto L7, is now in second place with 470 units sold, following Voyah Free. Other Li Auto models, L6 (328 units) and L9 (206 units), also lost ground, although the brand retains the lead in total sales for the 8 months of 2025, despite a decrease of 52.5%.
Geely Galaxy Starship 7, unofficially presented to Russian dealers, took fifth place with 115 units, undergoing certification and preparing for production in Belarus under the Belgee X80 brand. The top 10 also included Voyah Dream, Aito M5, BMW X5 in a hybrid version, Evolute i-Space, and WEY Coffee 01.
