Japanese auto giant Toyota has unveiled the e-Palette BEV electric vehicle with a low-floor design and a 17-person capacity cabin, allowing it to be transformed into a bus, mobile hotel, or food truck. The car stands out with its modern design and huge windows, creating a sense of spaciousness in the cabin. According to the company's press service, sales begin on September 15.
The electric vehicle is powered by a 204 hp engine, and the battery has a capacity of 72.82 kWh, which is enough for a range of 250 km from charge to charge. Despite its multifunctionality, the car has very modest dimensions: length 4950mm, width 2080 mm, height 2650. The floor height can vary from 270 to 370 mm, which is useful for passengers with disabilities.
Inside, behind the passenger compartment, there are 4 fixed seats and 3 folding ones - opposite the wide entrance door. At the same time, the cabin can be easily transformed and, for example, by adding a large screen and audio system, turn it into a shuttle, comfortably and with all amenities and entertainment delivering passengers to a hotel or country club.
