From January to August 2025, 13,918 new Toyota cars were sold in Russia. August was a record month: 2,996 registrations, almost double the number from a year ago (1,522 units). Thus, sales of the Japanese brand showed an increase of 97% year-on-year.
The three most popular models were the RAV4 crossover (3,850 cars), the Camry sedan (3,302 units), and the Highlander SUV (3,027 registrations). These cars form the basis of the brand's sales and maintain its position in various segments.
Toyota's share in the Russian market has been increasing for six consecutive months: from 1.25% in February to 2.45% in August, which means an increase of 96%. The majority of buyers are concentrated in the Central Federal District, where 32% of total sales are registered. The data is provided by the agency "Autostat Info."
