Sales of the updated Toyota Highlander 2026 have started in China. The crossover retains its previous design but has received significantly expanded equipment. The price for the base version starts at 220,000 yuan (about 2.6 million rubles).
The model has dimensions of 4965 x 1930 x 1750 mm with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. For now, only a five-seater version is available to buyers.
The main update concerns the interior: the Highlander is now equipped with a multimedia system on the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset with support for Apple CarPlay and Huawei HiCar 5.0 (both wired and via Wi-Fi). The 15.6-inch screen works with "over the air" updates. Among the options are a 50W wireless smartphone charger, a surround view system, and advanced driver assistants.
The engine range includes a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 247 hp with an 8-speed "automatic", as well as hybrid versions based on a 2.5-liter engine (189 hp). The combined power of the all-wheel drive hybrid is 236 hp, while a front-wheel drive version is also available.
