Canadian INKAS Presents Luxury Armored SUV Based on Vietnamese VinFast VF9

The SUV meets the VPAM VR7 protection standard

Canadian company INKAS, in partnership with Vietnamese automaker VinFast, has unveiled the Lac Hong 900 LX armored electric SUV with VPAM VR7 protection standard. The vehicle is based on the production VF9 model but features an extended wheelbase, redesigned exterior, and luxurious interior.

Lac Hong 900 LX is a special limited series commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs specifically for transporting international leaders at the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The vehicle is presented in two versions: standard and bulletproof. Currently, the Vietnamese automotive company has delivered two bulletproof and 10 standard vehicles.

Lac Hong 900 LX

Lac Hong 900 LX has a wheelbase of 3349 mm, which is larger than the overall dimensions of the standard VF9 model. The interior of the Lac Hong 900 LX uses many high-quality materials such as leather, Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather, and real gold. The interior design remains the same as the VF9.

The Bulletproof version is fully armored, with a reinforced body, chassis, windows, and a rear bulletproof partition from INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing (Canada) - a leading global manufacturer of armored vehicles. The vehicle underwent rigorous testing at the Beschussamt Ulm (Germany) testing center, including 440 shots from various positions and 11 mine explosions from under the chassis and on the roof. The Lac Hong 900 LX in the Bulletproof version meets the highest standards for head-of-state vehicles - VPAM VR7. It can withstand hits from NATO Ball M80 rifle bullets and DM51 grenades.

In addition to high-end safety equipment and Run-Flat tires capable of traveling 80-100 km after a puncture, the vehicle can be equipped with specialized equipment such as an oxygen support system, integrated fire suppression system, satellite phones, emergency lights, sirens, etc., depending on the requirements and intended use.

The standard version has two 150 kW engines, a total power of 300 kW, and a range of 595 km. The bulletproof version has a total power of 455 hp and a range of 450 km.

The rear seats have heating and cooling, as well as independent 10-way adjustment.
