Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has denied rumors of a possible reduction in its presence in the European market and, on the contrary, announced plans to expand. The company believes that increasing car deliveries and introducing Vietnamese-made buses to the European market could help long-term cooperation and the EU's plans to make a "green transition."
By mid-2025, VinFast had 30 showrooms in Europe and the USA, most of which operate on a dealer basis. In Europe, VinFast VF 6 and VF 8 crossovers are available for purchase. The first received a 7-year or 161,000 km warranty and an 8-year battery warranty with no mileage limit, while the VF 8 has a 10-year or 201 km mileage warranty on the battery and the car itself.
The company intends to form alliances with local partners to expand its service network. The European market is called strategic, and the launch of VinBus buses is further confirmation of the company's long-term intentions. Given the relatively low price, the Vietnamese manufacturer may gain a firm foothold in the European market.
