New NAMI laboratory for testing imported cars opens in Vladivostok

Capacity - up to 130 thousand cars per year

A new testing laboratory of FSUE "NAMI", designed for mandatory conformity assessment of cars imported into Russia, began operating in Vladivostok on October 2. The facility is located on the premises of AIT, which is part of the Sollers Group.

The laboratory specializes in testing single imported vehicles. These procedures are necessary to obtain a Vehicle Design Safety Certificate (SBKTS) and subsequent registration of an Electronic Vehicle Passport (EPTS).

The site is built near the ports of arrival of cars, which minimizes the time for delivering cars for testing and the verification process as a whole. The laboratory equipment includes three test lines with diagnostic complexes and environmental control systems. All of them meet the requirements of the regulatory documents of the Eurasian Economic Union. The design capacity of the site is designed to serve up to 130 thousand cars annually.
