Cheapest Tesla Unveiled

This is the 2026 Model Year Model 3 Standard

Tesla has introduced a new base version of its sedan - the 2026 Model 3 Standard. This variant has become the most affordable car in the company's lineup: the price in the US starts at $36,990, excluding potential benefits, and with delivery and registration, it comes to about $38,630.

The electric car is equipped with rear-wheel drive and can travel up to 321 miles (about 517 km) on a single charge. This makes it not only the cheapest 2025 Tesla, but also one of the most advantageous offers among electric cars with a similar range.

Unlike more expensive trims, the Model 3 Standard received fabric upholstery and a simplified set of options. The interior retains only the basic functions necessary for everyday comfort, and some premium elements have been removed to reduce costs. At the same time, the sedan retained the signature minimalist interior and design of the restyled Model 3 Highland.

Simultaneously with the release of the new base version, Tesla changed the structure of the entire Model 3 lineup. Now, buyers have four trims available: Standard, Premium with rear-wheel drive (from $42,490), Premium AWD (from $47,490), and the flagship Performance, for $54,490. All prices are listed without delivery, but even with additional costs, the Model 3 Standard remains attractive in terms of value for money.
