The Chinese premium brand Hongqi is preparing for the Russian debut of an updated version of the flagship H9 sedan. The main difference will be the installation of a three-liter V6 with a turbocharger, working in tandem with an automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The engine output is 326 horsepower, and the torque is 450 N·m.
According to "Auto.ru", the cost of the new version will be 9.99 million rubles - almost twice as expensive as the current version with a two-liter engine with 245 horsepower, estimated at 4.78 million rubles. But the dynamics will improve: 6.5 seconds to 100 km/h and a maximum speed of 245 km/h against the previous 7.8 seconds and 230 km/h. Fuel consumption will increase only from 7.1 to 7.4 liters.
It is expected that the all-wheel drive Hongqi H9 will receive an air suspension with ground clearance adjustment from 188 to 248 millimeters. The interior will feature new materials - nappa leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber, door closers and wireless charging for second-row passengers.
In the documents, the model is designated as Restyling, which indicates minor external changes. The length of the sedan has increased to 5140 mm, and the brand itself continues to strengthen its position in Russia, taking fourth place among premium brands with sales of 1193 cars in August.
