Tenet Enters Top 5 of Russian Car Market for the First Time

1,689 new cars of the brand were sold in the country in a week

The Russian car brand Tenet has entered the top 5 brands in terms of sales volume for the first time. This was reported on October 13 by the analytical agency Avtostat.

According to the results of the week, from October 6 to October 12, 1,689 new Tenet cars were sold in the country. The brand took fifth place in the ranking, shifting the Chery brand to sixth place (1,461 units).

The Tenet T4 crossover last week entered the top ten most popular models in the Russian car market for the first time, taking eighth place.

Lada (7,122 units) leads the ranking for the second week of October, followed by Haval (5,615 units), Geely (3,129 units) and Belgee (2,468 units).

Behind Tenet and Chery in the top ten are Changan (1,442 units), Solaris (1,296 units), Toyota (951 units) and Omoda (862 units).

In total, 36.1 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia in a week, which is 12.6% less than a week earlier, and 1.1% lower year-on-year.
