In September 2025, 9.9 thousand used cars were imported into Russia from China. This is four times more than in September 2024 - 2.45 thousand units. This was announced by the head of the Avtostat analytical agency, Sergey Tselikov.
He specified that the most popular brand in imports from China remains Toyota (1793 units). In second place is Honda (1389 units), in third place is Volkswagen (1372 units).
The top 10 most popular used cars from China also included BMW, Audi, Hyundai, Changan, Geely, Kia and Haval.
The top five most popular models were Toyota Corolla (471 units), Toyota RAV4 (428 units), Honda Breeze (295 units), BMW X3 (285 units) and Honda CR-V (274 units).
Tselikov added that in September, China accounted for every fifth used car imported into Russia (share - 20.4%).
