An enterprise for the large-unit assembly of Ural vehicles may open in Uganda. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to Uganda, Vladlen Semivolos.
According to him, the issue was discussed at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation.
Among the specific projects approved at the meeting, it is worth noting the plans of our countries' companies to create an enterprise in Uganda for the large-unit assembly of Ural vehicles to meet the needs of East African countries.
The diplomat added that cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, finance and banking, energy, agriculture, construction, transport, education, healthcare, and others was also discussed at the event.
The parties signed a final protocol establishing specific areas of trade, investment, and industrial cooperation for the foreseeable future.
