The driver's mistake that causes the engine to die quickly has become known

If you rush to start, the engine wears out faster

Many drivers, in a hurry to leave, start the engine immediately after turning on the ignition. But this habit, experts warned, can seriously shorten the life of the engine.

After turning the key or pressing the start button, the car goes through a short self-diagnosis stage - indicators light up on the panel, the fuel pump creates pressure, and electronics check the systems. This process takes only a few seconds, but is critical for a correct start.

If you start the engine earlier, some components work "blindly": the fuel mixture is supplied intermittently, the oil does not have time to distribute, and the engine elements receive excessive load.

According to the expert, this causes the cylinders and piston rings to wear out faster, and the catalyst also suffers.

The advice is simple - you need to wait until the indicators on the dashboard go out - and only then start the engine. A short pause will extend the life of the car and reduce the risk of costly repairs.
