Elon Musk: Tesla will not create "its own AMG"

During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Elon Musk dispelled rumors about the possible appearance of Tesla's own division, similar to AMG at Mercedes-Benz. In response to Joe Rogan's question about sports modifications, Musk stated that the company does not plan to develop a tuning direction or release "charged" versions of its models under a separate brand.

I think it's better to leave it to custom ateliers. Tesla is focused on unmanned vehicles and creating futuristic cars. We want the future to look like the future.

Rogan himself is the owner of an advanced Tesla Model S Plaid, which has been refined at the Unplugged Performance studio. There, the car received improved aerodynamic elements, sports seats and a modified suspension, turning into an exclusive version of the Model S APEX.
