After the hasty launch, Lada Iskra received the first wave of improvements. AvtoVAZ eliminated key shortcomings - replaced the "hardware" of the media system and improved the operation of the rain sensor.
One of the main problems of the new model was the operation of the multimedia system - the screen froze or turned off spontaneously. Now AvtoVAZ has replaced the electronic filling of the unit - the updated equipment should work more stably.
In addition, the engineers redesigned the rain sensor. The wipers turn on only when there is real precipitation, and not from random drops or glare.
Previously, Lada Iskra was sold only with a 1.6-liter engine with 106 hp, now dealers have begun to receive cars with a basic engine of smaller volume. Some car dealerships are already offering them at a price lower than the factory recommended price - for the first time since the start of sales.
According to sources, in November the output of Iskra will increase slightly, and by December AvtoVAZ expects to improve the situation with supplies to warehouses. The company is gradually eliminating the "childhood diseases" of the model, which was launched into production in an accelerated mode, in order not to disrupt the promised deadlines.
