From November 1 to 5, Autostat conducted a survey among subscribers of its Telegram channels, in which almost 1.5 thousand people took part. The study showed that the average cost of buying a car was about 2.5 million rubles, without specifying whether the car was new or used.
Every fifth participant (21%) spent up to 1 million rubles, 22% purchased a car in the range from 1 to 2 million rubles, and the same number - from 2 to 3 million rubles. 13% of respondents noted car costs in the range of 3-4 million rubles, 7% spent from 4 to 5 million rubles, and 8% spent over 5 million.
According to Autostat, in October the average weighted price of a new passenger car reached 3.43 million rubles, while used cars rose in price to 1.23 million rubles. Researchers note that rising prices are gradually shifting the average level of car purchases higher than the 2.5 million rubles mark.
