AvtoVAZ presented the 2026 model year Lada Vesta with a keyless entry system at the Moscow Motor Show. Sales of the updated version will start in December, said Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of "Za Rulem."
Now the car automatically unlocks the doors when the owner with the key approaches the car. A new four-button key fob has been prepared for the model, and the engine can now be started remotely by pressing a button. There is no longer any need to put the key in the niche on the central tunnel - this function is completely excluded from the control algorithm.
In addition to technical updates, Vesta has received an expanded body palette. In the 2026 model year, a burgundy metallic "Flamenco" will appear - the shade is already used for Granta and Iskra and will now become a proprietary option for Vesta as well.
The model update fits into AvtoVAZ's strategy to gradually increase the equipment of production cars. The manufacturer confirms that in 2026 the line will receive other modern functions, while maintaining a focus on accessibility.
