The AODES Snowcross 1000 SWT Army snowmobile was presented at the "Moscow Motor Show" - a utility model for military purposes with advanced off-road capabilities and cargo transportation. The snowmobile is made in camouflage colors and comes with a factory-installed equipment kit for harsh operating conditions.
The model is based on a two-cylinder V-shaped four-stroke engine with a volume of 1000 cm³. The piston stroke is 68 mm, and liquid cooling ensures stable operation under load. Starting can be done both with an electric starter and manually. The maximum power is 85 hp, which allows you to confidently work on deep snow surfaces. The transmission is a variator and a gearbox with reverse, there is a differential lock. The maximum speed reaches 85 km/h.
The suspension is built on double wishbones at the front and a pendulum system with an A-Arm lever at the rear. The front suspension travel is 220 mm, the rear is 230 mm. The rear is equipped with a system with an adjustable shock absorber and the possibility of preparing for long runs. The braking system is a reinforced hydraulic disc.
The 500 mm wide track is designed for confident movement on loose snow, ice and difficult terrain. The snowmobile is capable of carrying a significant load, and is also equipped with a rear trunk and an extended platform.
Dimensions: length 3250 mm, width 1265 mm, height 1530 mm. Ground clearance - 313 mm. Track between ski centers - 1000 mm. The weight of the dry snowmobile is 331 kg.
The equipment list includes an instrument panel, LED optics, connectors for connecting electrical equipment, heating and a kit for working in the cold. Front and rear luggage racks, a winch, a tow bar, charging equipment and the possibility of installing an enlarged battery are additionally available.
The warranty is two years or 3000 km, whichever comes first.
