Belgee has announced the start of a recall campaign for S50 (Geely Emgrand) cars manufactured from August 3, 2023, to July 4, 2025. The reason is the need to replace the fuel tank cap due to possible malfunction of the ventilation system.
This leads to the fuel pump elements starting to come into contact with the tank walls and potentially damaging it.
The recall campaign applies to cars operated in Belarus. For a similar reason, Geely Emgrand vehicles supplied to the Russian market were already recalled in September.
Belgee notes that the necessary work will be carried out free of charge - owners will have the tank cap replaced with a part of an updated design.
Sales of the S50 model began in Russia in September 2025, and it quickly became scarce - demand for it now significantly exceeds supply.
Belgee S50 - a rebranded Geely Emgrand sedan. The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 122 hp, which can work with both a 5-speed manual and a 6-range automatic transmission.
