Aion and Hyptec cars may appear in Russia under the GAC brand. This was reported at the headquarters of the Chinese automaker in Guangzhou.
The company emphasized that if Aion and Hyptec are introduced to the Russian market, they will be presented specifically as models of the GAC brand, and not as separate brands.
Sales of new items will begin as early as 2026. Preliminary, the first to appear in car dealerships will be the Aion V, Hyptec HL and Hyptec HT crossovers.
As a reminder, the Aion V electric crossover went on sale in China in July 2024. The basic version costs from 130 thousand yuan (about 1.5 million rubles). The car is offered in three trim levels with different batteries.
The Hyptec HL crossover has been available for purchase in China since 2023. The model is equipped with an electric and hybrid power plant, and its cost is about 3.6 million rubles.
The Hyptec HT crossover is available in several modifications with different characteristics. In the basic version, the engine power is 340 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
