AvtoVAZ's production program for 2026 may increase significantly: the company is considering producing around 400,000 cars. The final plan has not yet been approved - it will be announced later, but such targets were voiced by Maxim Sokolov on the sidelines of the "Russia Calling!" forum. Management emphasizes that the actual volume will depend on demand and the correct balance between sales and inventory.
This year, the company intends to sell about 350,000 cars. In November alone, more than 31,000 cars were sold, and over 30,000 more are expected in December. According to Sokolov, the dynamics of demand allow for a confident outlook on the results of 2025, even despite the continuing market fluctuations.
The head of the enterprise also commented on the increase in the recycling fee. AvtoVAZ considers this decision fair and assesses its impact on consumer demand as minimal. According to Sokolov, the adjustment of the recycling fee will not be a factor that drastically changes sales of Lada models in 2026.
