The main competitors of the updated Voyah Free Sport+ hybrid crossover in the hybrid segment are Lixiang L6 and L7, as well as Exlantix ET. This opinion was expressed to the Avtostat agency by Nikolai Ivanov, director of the new car sales department at Rolf. According to him, if we compare the model with cars with classic internal combustion engines, it is logical to include Exeed RX, Hongqi HS5, Changan UNI-K and GAC GS8 among the competitors, and BMW X3 among parallel imports.
The expert notes that more and more buyers are opting for hybrid power plants. In the case of Voyah Free Sport+, this is due to noticeably more dynamic acceleration compared to traditional 2-liter gasoline turbo engines. An additional advantage is the height-adjustable air suspension, which is rare in this class.
Price also remains an important factor: the hybrid crossover costs only slightly more than comparable-sized gasoline SUVs with spring suspensions. At the same time, the share of Voyah Free is already the highest in the brand's sales structure in Russia, so the release of the Sport+ version is unlikely to increase it. According to Nikolai Ivanov, the redistribution of demand within the brand is most likely to go towards the Voyah Passion hybrid sedan.
As a reminder, the updated Voyah Free Sport+ is already available at official dealers for 6,740,000 rubles.
