The handover of the 10,000th unit of the luxury Maextro S800 sedan, created in partnership between Huawei and JAC, took place in China. The anniversary car was presented to actor and martial artist Jet Li. The model costs from 708,000 to 1,018,000 yuan on the Chinese market, and the sedan itself is positioned as one of the most technologically advanced representatives of the new energy vehicle segment.
The Maextro brand is a joint project of JAC, which is responsible for production, and Huawei, which handles sales through the HIMA network. The S800 was launched in late May 2025, and deliveries began in August. After several months, sales exceeded 7,000 vehicles, and reaching the 10,000 mark allowed the project to set a monthly record of almost 3,000 cars.
The Maextro S800 is a large executive sedan with a length of almost 5.5 meters, a steerable rear axle, and a premium interior with multiple screens and a 43-speaker audio system. The model is offered in both a fully electric version and an EREV version with a range of up to 400 km on electric power. The increase in sales is associated with seasonal demand and the expectation of a reduction in subsidies for electric vehicles in 2026.
