Sergey Kogogin, General Director of PJSC KAMAZ, admitted that he would buy an "Atom" electric car when it appears in dealerships. He stated that he believes in the success of the project.
The project is of interest. As soon as serial "Atoms" start rolling off the assembly line, I will buy one - I will drive it.
Kogogin clarified that for the "Atom" to pay off, it is necessary to sell 15 thousand cars per year. However, the project has undergone two devaluations and an interest rate hike during its development.
No investment project can withstand such somersaults. The shareholders of the Atom project and its creditors have taken a sympathetic view of the situation and decided that the project should not be frozen. I am sure that this car should win its place.
Earlier it became known that sales of the electric carwill begin in the spring of 2026.
