A rare 1974 Moskvich-412, a true "time capsule," has been put up for sale in Irkutsk. The owner is asking an astronomical 25 million rubles for it.
The car has been in storage in a garage since 1979. During its period of operation, the car has traveled only 12,000 km, as evidenced by the excellent condition of the body and interior. There is no corrosion, and the paintwork and chrome remain as they were from the factory.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter engine with 75 hp.
The seller is confident that the Moskvich-412 is a worthy alternative to modern Chinese cars and even new Toyota models, "whose quality has noticeably deteriorated and is practically on par with the Chinese automotive industry."
The owner emphasizes that 25 million is not the final price and that the value of the car will only increase over time.
