BAW plans to expand the BAW 212 SUV family in the Russian market in 2026. This was announced by the press service of the Chinese manufacturer.
In the first half of the year, a pickup truck based on the BAW 212 T01 will debut in Russia, with model dimensions of 5469 × 1955 × 1970 mm.
The launch of the Changfeng Diesel version with a ZF automatic transmission and a diesel engine is expected at the same time, while the engine is planned to be detuned to 159 hp.
In addition, the Gaodi model in a new special off-road configuration may go on sale in Russia in the first half of the year. The list of equipment includes an expeditionary trunk, a new hood, additional protection for bumpers and sills.
Also, in the second half of the year, a compact three-door version of the 212 T01 with a wheelbase of 2570 mm is expected to appear on the market.
